8:05 am	The Melbourne Cup I'll never know why we have to work Easter Tuesday these days, but then we get a Tuesday off in November to watch a 3 mintue horse race. Honestly. It's a freaking HORSE RACE. That being said, i welcome and/or support this random holiday with gusto and enthusiasm. Not working on Wednesdays and taking the Monday off as leave gives me a five day holiday. So in honour of the horse race that hopefully will allow me to go to bunnings to buy much wood and then ruin it with the router in the back lean to, here is a picture i call 'at the races'. 2:54 pm	I truly, truly, suck at bird taxidermy. This was my first attempt at a bird, my second attempt at any taxidermy. It's something that is going to take a LOT of practise to get right!!!! This was a budgie that died of 'natural causes' and i think it was a bit old by the time i got to it. But that is just an excuse really for what is me learning a new skill and getting it terribly terribly wrong to start with. (...and i'm not putting it behind a cut for the same reasons that supermarkets don't have their meat in an AO sealed section and butcher's shops don't have opaque windows...) 7:15 pm	Trawling youtube...so much fun! What an awesome song, KMFDM's juke joint jezebel. makes me want to headbang! THis isnt an official vid, someone has cut the movie immortal which i think i need to see. But if you've never listened to mind.in.a.box, do. You'll love it or hate it. My fav song is 'light and dark'. :) and finally...the rest of neuroticfish's stuff is good to but you cant beat a cover of napoleon IVX... (Comment on this)
